1. From 23:00 on May 22, 2018 to May 27, 2018: repairing AAG cable line (branch S1) to Hong Kong and the US.
2. From June 1, 2018 to June 5, 2018: repairing the AAG submarine cable line (branch S1) with traffic going through Vietnam's Vung Tau cable station.

VNPT's representative said that immediately after receiving the partner's notice, the network immediately moved Internet traffic routing in other directions to avoid affecting customers.

International AAG optical cable route AAG is the first cable connection between Southeast Asia and the US which was put into use in 2009. AAG has a total length of 20,000km, capacity of 2 Terabit / sec, using coupling technology Optical wavelength (DWDM). This fiber optic line starts from Malaysia via Singapore, Thailand, Brunei, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Philippines and the US endpoint. The cable branch into Vietnam in Vung Tau is located in section S1 with a length of 314 km.
