Danish architectural firm EFFEKT has introduced the idea of a unique elevated road to connect people with nature.
Seeing the green park from above down is always a dream of many people. However, there has been no architectural work to do this before, due to various reasons and techniques.
Join us to see the spiraling road that passes through the forest in Denmark - a unique elevated road that connects people to the vast nature!
This particular road was built in the Gisselfeld Klosters nature reserve, Haslev is located in the south of Copenhagen, Denmark.
To preserve the surrounding natural environment, the Danish architectural firm EFFEKT has had to elaborate on the design of the construction of a spiral shaped 600m long walkway that takes visitors from the forest through the towering peaks.
Visitors walk on the steps divided into two paths, up high to visit the old forest, still low to visit the newly planted forest.
The journey will begin at the lodge and garden garden in the area outside the forest.
On the way there will be rest stations for visitors to freely observe and watch the forest from above. This journey will end at the 45m-high observation tower, where you can get a close-up view of the trees thanks to the tower's hourglass shape.
Guests can enjoy 360-degree panoramic views of the preserved forest area.
Thanks to this design idea, the adventure journey in the forest will become a unique and unforgettable experience for those who come to the Glisselfeld Kloster reserve.
As expected, this project will be completed by the end of this year and ready to open to visitors in 2018.
