The W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) has updated the common technical characteristics of CSS technology for the format related to the 'external' look of a website.

This is the standard known as Cascading Style Sheets (CSS - according to Vietnamese Wikipedia, "cascading style files"). After nearly a decade, the CSS initiated by the W3C was published with the 2.1 CSS version with official specifications. The first test version of CSS 2.1 was launched in 2004.

CSS is a language for the web, strongly supporting users on how to layout and design. In addition, CSS makes it easier to manage web pages. But the actual testing and operation process shows that CSS 2.1 can be a stable platform. This standard contains a large number of format features. All features have been tested through different combinations.

The CSS Test suite can be used by developers to help their applications export the CSS pages correctly. With a complete CSS 2.1, web developers and web applications can write features on many different devices.

Philippe Le Hégaret, W3C's Interaction Domain Manager, said that browsers currently support many technical features for CSS 2.1, although browser developers can tweak a bit of complete specifications. of CSS 2.1.

There are about 9,000 2.1 CSS test tests that give pretty good results. W3C is currently collaborating with expert teams to develop CSS 3, although most of this new version relies heavily on CSS 2.1. Instead of introducing CSS 3 as a full standard, the expert team will introduce each part (module) and gradually add it to CSS 2.1. Accordingly, W3C also recently introduced CSS Color Module Level 3, which helps developers to easily identify colors for text, borders and background.
