Would you like to add a hat to your image in Photoshop? Placing an extra hat on an object can be a great way to create a fun or festive atmosphere for a photo. In this article, TipsMake.com will show you how to use photoshop to add hats on someone's head.
How to Photoshop a hat?
The first thing you need to do is open the main photo and the hat image in Photoshop.
Next, you will need to delete the background of the hat image.
To delete the background, you can create a selection on the hat itself with the Magic Wand tool. Then press Shift + Ctrl + I from the keyboard to reverse the selection.
Then, press the Delete key to delete the background. (Make sure the Background layer is unlocked in the Layers panel . To unlock the layer, you can double-click the layer.)
Next, move the hat image to the original photo, containing the object you want to add the hat details to.
Now you will need to adjust the hat, so that it is on top of the object. To adjust the hat, you can press Ctrl + T to transform, resize and rotate it to match the angle of the head.
When you're happy with the result, you can press Enter to apply the change. (If you need to make any further changes, you can always press Ctrl + T to make further adjustments.)
All operations are complete! You can compare 2 images before and after.
You can also add a hat to your cat or pet dog, as the article did in the picture below. (This procedure may be useful when your pet doesn't like to wear a hat on the head, let alone taking photos when they're wearing hats).
