The first laptop can create 3D effects from Blu-ray discs.

According to Toshiba's June 7 announcement, the Dynabook TX / 98MBL laptop will be shipped and launched in Japan next July and is based on a 3D system of well-known graphics card maker NVidia.

This 3D system is called '3D Vision', incorporating one of NVidia's GeForce graphics cards with a 3D Active-Shutter wireless shutter, a built-in signal transmitter for sending sync signals. to glasses and software.

Active-Shutter glasses turn off 60 times per second, matching the image being displayed on the screen. The screen displays 120 images per second on different frames for the right and left eyes. These glasses will help separate the frames and send them to the correct eye. In this way, viewers will have the illusion of depth of image.

Toshia's 3D laptop is expected to have a 15.6-inch screen and Blu-ray player that supports 3D movies. This device uses Intel Core i7-740QM processor, GTS 365M chip, 630 GB hard drive, 4GB memory chip.

The specific price of this laptop has not been disclosed but it is expected to be sold in Japan in July with a price of about 250,000 yen (US $ 2,745). Toshiba intends to bring this product to the international market but the company has not announced specific plans.
