The lightest laptop in the world

Toshiba has introduced the SS RX2 lightest laptop in the world - 858g. This is upgraded version of SS RX1 ago. SS RX2 has been tested to have the ability to withstand impact force when dropped from a height of 75cm, pour 100ml of water to the surface and withstand 100kg gravity.

SS RX2 is equipped with an Intel Core 2 Duo SU9300 1.2 GHz, RAM up to 3GB, Intel GS45 Express chipset graphics. Laptop screen 12.1-inch screen with 1280x800 resolution, size 283x215,8x19,5 mm and supports wireless connectivity standard WiFi 802.11a / b / g / n.

Dynabook SS RX2 line has many different samples as RX2 / T9GG and RX2 / T9G equipped with solid state drives (SSD) 128GB allow machine operation is within 12.5 hours; also RX2 / T8GG, RX2 / T7GG, RX2 / T8G, RX2 / T7G and RX2 / S7G only 160GB hard drive. RX2 / T9GG, RX2 / T8GG and RX2 / T7GG also supports CDMA 1X WIN WWAN KDDI standard for high-speed mobile network.

Also, SS RX2 is integrated fingerprint scanner, memory card slot SD / SDHC, 3 USB ports and a D-Sub outputs. Products will be available in September for around US $ 4000 version with hard drive also will be sold at the SDD in November with prices yet to be revealed.
