In the network security bulletin released on March 12, Bkav said the viruses infected 4,406,000 computers. The most contagious virus is W32.Sality.PE, which infects 292,000 computers.

February also recorded 216 websites of agencies and businesses in Vietnam that were hacked by hackers; including 14 cases caused by domestic hackers, 202 cases by foreign hackers.

According to Bkav, in the past days, Vietnam has spread a virus capable of robbing social network accounts Facebook. This malicious code is spreading exponentially because each hijacked account turns into a " switchboard" that spreads viruses.

When infected with the virus, on the wall of Facebook appears links with shocking messages related to Psy, famous singer with Gangnam Style. When clicking on the link above, users will be directed to a website with fake video clips. Here, users are recommended to download the plugin (an extension to install additional functions to increase the functionality for the browser) to watch the video. Install this plugin, the computer will immediately be infected with the virus.

Once done, the virus will take control and automatically change the victim's Facebook password.

Mr. Vu Ngoc Son, Director of Research Department of Bkav said, normally when watching videos on Facebook, users do not have to install additional plugins to watch videos. Therefore, having such suggestions, users need to ask questions and should not follow.
