Sysda - Trojan dangerous from China
FaceTime Security Lab has discovered a Trojan used to steal very dangerous user information from China.
Chris Mannon, senior researcher at Face Time, said the latest phishing threat was named Sysda. This is a trojan used to steal user passwords when visiting websites in China.
After infiltrating the computer, the trojan will lie dormant until the user accidentally activates it by visiting websites that require entering a username and password. Sysda will steal this information and automatically send it to a hacker remote site.
Face Time warns that the trojan will soon spread to other parts of the world today, although it is only dangerous for users in China. " With Sysda, all it takes is to link to the iexplore.exe file to steal user usage information ," Chris Mannon said.
FaceTime Security Lab is a company that provides security solutions to protect applications such as instant messaging programs, Skype, programs used to conference and share peer data.
