From today (January 18), Symantec will begin releasing updated versions for its range of familiar security applications, through its automatic LiveUpdate feature. Previously, users could only manually update new software.

Users of all programs: Norton Internet Security 2006, Norton AntiVirus 2006, Norton System Works 2006, Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition 10.0 and Symantec Client Security 3.0 are updated to scan tool via LiveUpdate.

They will also be informed of important updates, and will be required to manually download a new spyware blocking tool.

LiveUpdate is a built-in feature of many Symantec security products, automatically downloading updated versions and features from the company's website to the user's computer against the latest threats. The updated release via LiveUpdate will help protect too many customers . lazy, refusing to update manually.

The new scanning virus will automatically run as soon as the operating system starts, protecting the computer against the intrusion and attack of malicious code hiding inside rootkits.

Meanwhile, new spyware and adware blocking tools will prevent these programs from installing on your computer.
