Although Internet Explorer 8 has been around for a long time, I didn't really care about it at first. One day, I decided to install Internet Explorer 8 on my Vista system. As a result, I was very happy that I decided to use Internet Explorer 8, because I had never realized that Accelerator could be so useful until I started using it often. than.

In this article, I will introduce you to Internet Explorer 8 Accelerators and help you make the most of it.

What is Accelerators?

As its name suggests, Accelerators are a feature that helps you speed up your work on the Web thanks to the ability to interact quickly with things you need to search on the Web every day. You just need to highlight the words you care about and click on the Accelerators icon.

For example, the default Accelerator will allow you to quickly send a term to a search engine or a translation page, send a text to your blog or via e-mail, or send the address to the route finder. .

Although the preconfigured Accelerators come from Microsoft, that's not all. There are hundreds of third-party Accelerators to choose from.

Let's first see how to make the most of the preconfigured Accelerators. After that, we will discuss the addition and management of Accelerator.

Use preconfigured Accelerator

The best way to explain the details of Accelerators is to try it out. Suppose you are looking for a new job and you are going through a place that seems quite popular in the city you are not familiar with. To know where this is, you first need to highlight the city name. Soon you will see the Accelerators icon. When clicking on the icon, the Accelerator list will appear. Point to the Map with Live Search line and a small map will pop out like Figure A. If you want to get more detailed information, click on the small map and the big map will appear on the new tab.
