For example, the default Accelerator will allow you to quickly send a term to a search engine or a translation page, send a text to your blog or via e-mail, or send the address to the route finder. .

Although the preconfigured Accelerators come from Microsoft, that's not all. There are hundreds of third-party Accelerators to choose from.

Let's first see how to make the most of the preconfigured Accelerators. After that, we will discuss the addition and management of Accelerator.

Use preconfigured Accelerator

The best way to explain the details of Accelerators is to try it out. Suppose you are looking for a new job and you are going through a place that seems quite popular in the city you are not familiar with. To know where this is, you first need to highlight the city name. Soon you will see the Accelerators icon. When clicking on the icon, the Accelerator list will appear. Add Accelerator

As I mentioned above, there are hundreds of third-party Accelerators to choose from, and you can use them to replace preconfigured Accelerators. To access the Accelerator list, open the All Accelerators submenu and select Find More Accelerators like Figure C.

Accelerator configuration

If you select Manage Accelerators from the All Accelerators submenu , you will see the Manage Add-ons dialog box with Accelerators Add-on Type selected as shown in Figure E. Here, you can remove Accelerators, disable Accelerator and Set the default Accelerator for each item.

Accelerator only for documents

Although most Accelerators are designed to work with selected text or phrases, there are a number of Accelerators designed to work exclusively with the entire Web site or document. So if you added an Accelerator to Internet Explorer 8 without seeing it in the Accelerator list when highlighting a phrase, try right-clicking on the Web page. If the Accelerator is designed to work with the Web site, you will find it in that menu.
