Here are some strange and crazy historical events, when heard of many people feel unbelievable and seem fictional but they are completely real.

War broke out because of a bucket

War of the Buck, the war between Italy and Bologna, Modena broke out in 1325, leaving 2,000 people dead and injured. It is considered one of the most "stupid" wars in the history of mankind for the sake of stealing a bucket.

Specifically, Modena soldiers sneaked into the city of Bologna and stole a bucket used by people to collect water from a well located in the center of the city.

The Bologna side reclaimed the bucket but was denied so declared war on Modena.

To reclaim the bucket, Bologna mobilized up to 32,000 troops, while 7,000 Modena's highly trained soldiers were also available to protect the bucket.
