Still able to install and run Google applications and services on Huawei Mate 30/30 Pro

The Mate 30 now works as if it had never had the same ban as Mate 20 or many other Huawei devices sold worldwide before.

Because of the US ban, Huawei's Mate 30 / Mate 30 Pro phones are not pre-installed with Google services and apps. So when buying, can users install Google Mobile Services (GMS) on Mate 30 themselves?

The answer is yes!

The guy on Spain's YouTube channel ProAndroid tried many ways to install Google apps on Huawei Mate 30. First, he went to APK Mirror and downloaded the individual .apk files of each application. But due to the lack of accompanying services, although Google Play can be installed, it still cannot launch the Google app store.

Finally, he tried using LZPlay, an application designed to automatically install the entire Google service for local Honor devices. Thankfully, this LZPlay app also works on Mate 30. After installing the LZPlay app on the device, Google Play still won't open. Then, he rebooted the computer and unexpectedly, the Android app store was working normally.

After that, he continued to try installing other Google applications such as YouTube, Google Maps and other game applications. As a result, the Mate 30 now works normally "like there has never been a ban" like the Mate 20 or other previously sold Huawei devices worldwide.

Maybe this will be the solution when Huawei sells the Mate 30 / Mate 30 Pro without Google services.
