Samsung's 49-inch curved screen makes all other screens small
When will a new screen become too small? Maybe 24 or 32 inches? What about 49 inches?
The 49-inch QLED gaming screen sounds too big to be on the table. But when standing in front of this super product at IFA event and getting lost in the screen world, the others seem too small (not because it is big).
It's also hard to imagine the width of this CHG90 screen of Samsung if you don't directly see it. The images are simply impossible to describe.
A screen is equivalent to pairing two 24-inch widescreen monitors connected to a computer, and the difference is that there's no dividing line between the two screens.
It's like a 24-inch screen with no dividing line in the middle
Just a few years ago, it seemed like Samsung's 34-inch super-wide curved screen was the best, especially to open multiple windows. But this 49-inch screen with this 32: 9 aspect ratio is actually at a different level.
The screen is designed to play games so the resolution is not really the best, at 3840 x 1080. But it really has some impressive screen technology for gamers, 144Hz refresh rate, time 1 millisecond response time, AMD Radeon FreeSync 2 to ensure the game supports HDR graphics that look the most beautiful and smooth.
Nor necessarily new games see this screen amazing. With its size, you can open multiple applications and display simultaneously or look at a lot of Excel columns at the same time.
There will be people who expect resolution to have more vertical lines but Samsung does not intend to turn it into the best screen. Quantum Dot LED technology (QLED) makes the screen brighter, with vivid contrast and color. Curved design brings great viewing angle very great.
Besides the huge size, the back of the screen also brings a technology like those from fantasy movies. The back of the screen is a turbine-like LED that indicates the performance, but not in the rough design of what is commonly seen on gaming computers.
Design behind the screen
It's almost impossible not to feel overwhelmed by hundreds (or even thousands) of TV screens and computers when attending big tech events like IFA, but you'll almost find them too small or too small. thin when compared to this monitor. Its 49-inch giant size will simply make you pay attention.
