The Gizmodo tech site on June 19 said both the white and black samples of the lithium battery have been recalled. The batteries are sold from September 2008 to June 2012. Those who bought can check the purchase time on the product.

Best Buy said it will contact customers to notify them of the recall, and offered to exchange another battery charger or get a gift voucher. However, Best Buy is not the only electronics retailer selling these batteries.
