Realme 6 launched: 90Hz screen, 64MP camera, 30W fast charging

Today (March 5), Realme has launched Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro - its latest smartphone duo in the framework of an event held in China. In addition, the manufacturer also introduced a sample of health monitoring bracelet Realme Band in this event.

Specifications and features

Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro are equipped with 6.5-inch IPS LCD screens, support Full HD + resolution (1080 x 2400 pixels), 20: 9 aspect ratio and have a 90Hz refresh rate. Both phones come with perforated screen designs, but the Realme 6 has a single selfie camera and the Realme 6 Pro has a dual selfie camera on the front.

The latest Realme smartphone duo has a fingerprint sensor on the side, while the back is made of glass and has a pretty nice gradient effect. In addition, they are also resistant to light water, can completely "survive" if you accidentally accidentally wet when walking in the rain, or have accidentally poured a small amount of water into the body.

Realme 6 uses MediaTek's Helio G90T chip, while Realme 6 Pro is the first smartphone in the world to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 720G 8nm chipset. Both devices have LPDDR4x RAM up to 8GB and UFS 2.1 internal memory up to 256GB.

In addition to the 16MP selfie camera placed in the "mole" on the front, Realme 6 also has a 4-camera system located vertically on the back, including the main sensor Samsung GW1 64MP, 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor, 2MP black-and-white sensor to Depth measurement and 2MP macro sensor.

As for the Realme 6 Pro, the phone has a dual selfie camera on the front, including a Sony IMX471 16MP main sensor and an 8MP wide-angle sensor with a 105-degree viewing angle. The selfie cameras of both devices support automatic HDR, AI beautification, portrait photography, time-lapse video, 120fps slow-motion video, and night photography.

The back of the Realme 6 Pro is home to four rear cameras, including the Samsung GW1 64MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor with 119-degree viewing angle, 12MP telephoto sensor that supports 2x optical zoom and 20x hybrid zoom, as well like a 2MP macro sensor with 4cm negative.

Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro come with a 4300mAh battery, support 30W fast charging with the ability to fully charge in just 60 minutes and pre-installed Android 10 operating system when sold. To save power, the device can automatically switch between 60Hz and 90Hz screen scan frequency.

The Pro variant has super linear speakers, supporting Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio technologies. In addition, it also has dual frequency GPS and is the second smartphone in the world after Realme X50 Pro with Navic satellite navigation system - India

Price and release time

As expected, Realme 6 will be officially on shelves from 11/3 with prices starting from 12999 Rupees for 4GB RAM + 64GB memory. Meanwhile, 6GB RAM + 128GB memory version is priced at Rs 14999, 8GB RAM + 128GB memory version is priced at Rs 15999 .

Realme 6 Pro is expected to hit shelves from March 13 with a starting price of Rs 16999 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB version. The 6GB RAM + 128GB memory version is priced at Rs 17999 , while the most advanced version with 8GB RAM + 128GB memory comes at Rs 18999
