Qualcomm's $ 2 billion 5G network project will be available on Lenovo, Oppo, Vivo and Xiaomi phones

At a technology event in Beijing, Qualcomm announced to its partner (six Chinese manufacturers) to speed up future 5G network equipment in China.

At a technology event in Beijing, Qualcomm announced that six partners including Chinese technology producers will be officially  apply 5G network in China in the future. Qualcomm's preliminary agreements with four companies have an estimated value of at least $ 2 billion over three years, starting with domestic smartphone releases and then expanding globally to 2019.

According to the "5G Pioneer" network project, Qualcomm is expected to provide Lenovo, Oppo, Vivo, Wingtech Technology, Xiaomi and ZTE a platform to develop high-end 5G commercial devices, important front components. -end RF converts analog radio signals to digital signals.

Many studies have shown that China will quickly become the world's largest market for 5G devices. Qualcomm's survey shows that 60% of Chinese consumers can buy 5G smartphones when the product is available and 7 out of 10 leading smartphone manufacturers from China also want to 'touch hands' 'to this new network technology.

Lenovo, Oppo, Vivo and Xiaomi all signed a partnership with Qualcomm to use the 5G network as agreed; Agreements between two other partners Wingtech and ZTE seem to be pending. This cooperation is the first concrete sign that China will be able to provide 5G networks by 2019. China has previously committed to  launched 5G network in 2020.
