According to APC, NetBotz is the only solution that combines the ability to analyze the environment, surveillance cameras and rack entry ports on a single platform, providing a comprehensive security system for IT equipment from the system. network room to data center environment (data center).

The next generation of NetBotz has the following major improvements:

  1. Configurable volume up to 130 rack doors in the same user interface, minimizing configuration of each door separately. Administrators can set up access profiles for each employee, schedule access for maintenance purposes and view the test minutes.
  2. Compatibility with multiple rack solutions allows users to integrate remote access and proximity within the Chatsworth GlobalFrame network cabinet as well as APC NetShelter SX network cabinets.
  3. An IP address used for 26 doors and 200 accounts significantly reduces the total cost to the owner while maximizing the number of users.
  4. The mounted "basement" frame saves rack space by using the U-bottom space in the APC NetShelter rack. The method of utilizing space in U-shaped design or empty space is also chosen to mount the NetBotz hardware.

NetBotz products are currently sold worldwide with a recommended price of US $ 1,395 (~ 28.5 million) for each 2-door / 2-handle kit. This new NetBotz product extends the security range by integrating rack access control systems in the IT environment, from network cabinets to data centers.
