Vietnamese enterprises announced security chips with operating systems smaller than Windows 10 200,000 times
At the "National Forum on Vietnam Technology Enterprise Development" (Make in Vietnam), Viet MK Group introduced a security chip with its own operating system 200,000 times smaller than Windows 10, manufactured by the company. Security ecosystem on chip using this operating system opens up many applications such as MoC (Matching-on-Chip, comparison in chips), OTP (One-time Password, disposable password), or SoD (Security -on-Demand, private security algorithms on demand).
In addition, MK Group also proposed a project to integrate chips into citizen identification cards, passports, health insurance cards, driver's licenses, public transport cards, electronic wallets . during the transition process. future country numbers, to simplify administrative procedures and create a separate ecosystem for Vietnamese citizens.
According to the forecast, from 2016-2021, every year in the world, an average of 500 million electronic ID cards are born, in Asia alone, 300 million. In Southeast Asia, Vietnam is clearly lagging behind other countries. Since 2000, countries such as Malaysia or Thailand have switched to using electronic cards. Other countries such as Laos, Cambodia or Myanmar also have a transition route.
According to MK Group, to build a successful e-government requires a population, a digital card ecosystem. The issuance of electronic passports not only helps protect national security but also helps Vietnamese people to raise their heads freely to travel in the flat world without a visa.
