With a thickness of only about 25 mm, Inspiron 15z is based on the Intel GS45 chipset and comes with a 1.3GHz Core 2 Duo SU7300 processor or 1.4 GHz Core 2 Duo SU9400. It has integrated GMA 4500MHD graphics card, 4GB of DDR3 RAM memory, hard drive capacity of up to 500 GB and a DVD reader and burner.

The screen of the 15.6-inch wide display device has a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels and uses LED backlight technology.

Dell's new laptop comes with a 1.3 Megapixel camera, dual microphones, stereo speakers, HDMI and VGA ports, Wi-Fi, high-speed Lan network connection. It has additional Bluetooth options, three USB ports, and a memory card reader that supports 7 card formats.

Inspiron 15z weighs about 2.3 kg with a standard 4 cell battery included. According to the manufacturer, the machine can run continuously for about 4 hours 23 minutes or more to over 8 hours and more than 10 hours with 6 cell battery, 9cell

According to Laptoping, Dell Inspiron 15z is preinstalled with Windows Vista Home Premium 64-Bit for a price of 599 USD (according to dell.com) and will be sold on October 5.

The machine has two choices of colors are black and cherry red.
