Microsoft gives reasons to make Windows 11 faster than Windows 10 on the same computer
We all know that Windows 11 will take advantage of the new processors better than Windows 10. But recently, Microsoft said that even with old hardware Windows 11 feels significantly faster than Windows. ten.
In a Microsoft Machanics video just posted, Vice President Steve Dispensa of Microsoft's Windows Management team shared details about the improvements to Windows 11.
Specifically, Windows 11 brings the following changes:
- Improved CPU and RAM resource management, prioritizing the currently visible windows in the top layer of the screen
- Resource allocation in the browser is also adjusted, prioritizing the tabs that are visible in the top layer by putting inactive tabs to sleep, reducing RAM usage by 32% and CPU usage up to 37%
- Get back to work faster by optimizing commands to hardware components needed for power on. As a result, the system manages overall RAM better and reduces shortages on main threads so that power is conserved for the threads that actually need it.
- Thanks to the new update engine that only downloads the necessary files from Microsoft servers, update packages are 40% smaller, significantly increasing update speed
According to Microsoft, Windows 11 will be released from October 5 to computers that are eligible for the upgrade. Computers that do not meet the minimum hardware requirements can still install Windows 11 via the ISO file.
