Vodafone has found that malware on HTC Magic phones comes from memory cards. There are about 3,000 HTC phones and some other phones infected. According to Spanish blog Movil Zona, Vodafone immediately sent a new memory card to customers infected with the virus.
Vodafone Spain said: ' Spain Vodafone has identified customers that may be affected and will send customers a new memory card. At the same time, Vodafone Spain will provide customers with tools to test and repair their equipment. '
