Intel updates its graphics, WiFi and Bluetooth drivers for Windows 10

Intel just released a series of new updates for DCH, WiFi and Bluetooth graphics drivers for the Windows 10 operating system.

Intel just released a series of new updates for DCH, WiFi and Bluetooth graphics drivers on Windows 10. New drivers are available for both home and business users in 64- bit and 32-bit.

Graphics

Specifically, Intel has updated its DCH graphics driver to version 26.20.100.7985 with a number of bug fixes and improvements. New audio drivers are also available for computers using 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th Intel processors in the DCH graphics package.

According to the announcement from Intel, the update comes with bug fixes for DirectX 12 for Fortnite games, as well as adding support for new games like Bleting Edge. For those who don't play games, Intel says it has fixed an issue that caused images to be out of sync with audio when playing HDR videos through the Movies & TV app on Windows 10.

Another vulnerability exists in the Movies & TV application that caused Windows 10 to show a black screen when playing videos in full screen mode.

There are no feature changes in this driver update. The update is compatible with PCs with 6th generation or newer processors, Pentium, Celeron processors with HD Graphics 510, 505, 500, UHD Graphics 605 and 600.

Note, this is a DCH driver and you should install it on a PC running Windows 10 May 2019 Update or later.

WiFi and Bluetooth

If your PC comes with an Intel wireless adapter, there's a new update available now for specific WiFi adapters according to the following list:

The additions and improvements in the update:

  1. When the system is connected to a Wi-Fi 6 network, mobile phones that support Wi-Fi 6 cannot connect to mobile hotspots at 5GHz.
  2. Random file transfer from mobile to PC
  3. For systems using Modern Standby, after resuming from Sleep mode, the Wi-Fi network scan list will give empty results.
  4. After resuming operation from Sleep or hibernation mode, Wireless-AC 3165 will disappear from device manager hardware list.

In addition, Intel has also released a Bluetooth driver update for PCs with Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165, AC 3168, AC 7265, AC 8260, AC 8265, AC 8265 Desktop Kit, and N 7265. This update also applies For Tri-Band Wireless-AC 17265, AC 18260 and AC 18265.

The driver is available for laptops with any of the following wireless adapters:

Intel said it has fixed a bug where Bluetooth file transfer could fail if users use Bluetooth HFP or A2DP audio streaming. Another bug in which Bluetooth devices will randomly disconnect has also been fixed.
