Instructions for clearing Twitter cache on iPhone and iPad
Now, you can clean up Twitter's cache and control the amount of storage it uses. Follow these steps to remove Twitter cache on your iPhone and iPad device.
If you spend a lot of time using Twitter, sharing videos, GIF images or regular photos with your followers and friends, then after a while the application will have quite a large cache. These unnecessary documents and data not only consume storage space on the device but also make the application run slower. So the best way is to clear Twitter's cache to free up storage on iPhone and iPad.
The latest version of Twitter comes with an archive setup that allows you to remove the cache right in the application. Based on your needs, you can choose to delete multimedia memory, web memory, or both.
Note : You must install the latest version of Twitter on your iOS device. Access the App Store → Updates tab → and then update the application.
Step 1 . First, open the Twitter application on your iOS device.
Step 2 . Click the profile icon in the top left corner of the screen.
Step 3 . Select Settings and privacy .
Step 4 . Touch the " Data Usage " option in General.
Step 5 . In the " Storage " section, you have two options:
- Media Storage : This is the memory for storing image data, GIF and Vine. It also shows the size of this memory.
- Web Storage : Storage of cookies and login information. In addition, the right hand side will display the total size of the web memory.
If you want to delete all normal and GIF images as well as Vine data, touch Media Storage → select Next Clear media storage → Touch Next Clear media storage to confirm.
If you want to delete all cookies and login information, click Web storage → next, touch Clear all web storage → touch Clear all web storage to confirm.
With Twitter cache removal on this iPhone / iPad you can save some of your device's memory for more important data.
