Huawei already has its own app store, can Google Play replace it?
In addition to building its own Hongmeng OS, Huawei also developed its own app store called App Gallery to replace Google's Play app store.
Google's recall of Android paper for Huawei was delayed for 90 days as the US temporarily removed the embargo on Chinese technology company until August 19. However, in order to face the worst possible situations, Huawei is working on its own ways to protect itself.
In addition to building its own Hongmeng OS, Huawei also developed its own app store called App Gallery to replace Google's Play app store. This application is currently available on Huawei and Honor devices.
Since 2018, Huawei has invited App Gallery developers and developers to promise to help them penetrate the Chinese market.
Own app store for smartphones Huawei will have many popular apps of China such as chat application WeChat or QQMusic, application of Amap maps . and apps from countries in Southeast Asia .
The US government is very interested in Huawei. Chinese technology firm knows this and is aware of the problems that will occur if the relationship between the two countries is strained. With the recent US ban, Huawei will not be allowed to conduct new businesses with US companies. This means that Huawei's new app store will not have Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest . and apps from US developers.
Whether App Gallery can replace Google Play is still a big question mark for all of us.
Currently, if you want to install App Gallery on Huawei devices, users must enable permission to install applications from sources other than Play Store, then access the link below. App Gallery application store will be downloaded automatically for supported machines.
