2. Detailed instructions
Step 1: Press the Windows + I key combination to enter the Settings software on Windows 11.
Step 2: Click on Bluetooth & devices. Then select Touchpad.
Step 3: In the Touchpad section, turn the switch to the left to turn off the touchpad.
- If you have turned off the touchpad but forgot to bring an external mouse or suddenly it broke, you can follow these steps to re-enable the touchpad.
Step 1: Press Windows + S key combination. Then find Touchpad settings.
Step 2: Press the Tabs key until you reach the toggle switch in the Touchpad section. The switch will have a white border as shown below:
Step 3: Press the spacebar to reopen the touchpad.
