How to turn off image suggestions in the Chrome search bar

The new Chrome browser updates a hint image in the address bar when you enter search content. Chrome will then scan all content related to the currently entered keyword and show a specific thumbnail for some suggested content. This hint image appears in front of suggestions from Google.

Updating more suggestive images for this search content is not always really necessary, even confusing if many images appear each content suggestion when searching on Chrome. Instructions to turn off image search suggestions on Chrome

When you enter keywords into the search bar on Chrome, below will display some suggestions. The content with the hint image will display in front of the hint content as shown below.

Step 1:

First of all, we enter the keywords chrome: // flags and the address bar on Chrome browser and press Enter to access.

Step 2:

In the next interface, we enter the omnibox rich keyword to search this flag on Chrome. Google Chrome Omnibox is the address bar used in the browser.

Step 3:

The results show the Omnibox rich entity suggestions flag. Here the flag is set to the default mode, which allows you to display images for suggested content when searching on Chrome. We need to transfer this content to Disabled mode .

Finally, press the Relaunch now button to restart Chrome browser and apply new changes.

We re-enter the search keyword in the address bar on Chrome and the image for the hint content no longer appears.

So we have turned off the suggested image for the search content on Chrome with a very simple step. To show the image again, just re-enable the Omnibox rich flag.
