Dell hastily fixes the laptop keyboard error

Dell computer maker has stopped releasing two Vostro laptops in Europe after it found the keyboard failed, some keys 'disappeared'.

A Dell customer in the UK bought the Vostro 1310 and discovered that the bottom line of the keyboard was shifted to the right. That's because the left Shift key is oversized and a new key (/) is placed between Shift and Z, so the keyboard is not the same as the traditional keyboard.

According to Dell representatives, some of the Vostro 1310 and 1510 laptops have encountered this keyboard error. These machines were sold in Europe in mid-April. The company stopped selling these two models until the problem was resolved.

Dell said it will replace the keyboard for customers who have purchased a faulty laptop. The new keyboard is easy to install. Dell representatives said the laptops were not sold in other parts of the world, so they were not affected.
