NetMarketShare said that the market share of Chrome OS 'accounts for only 0.023% on a global scale ', which is lower than the minimum of 0.1% to be included in their rankings.

Thus, for nearly two years on the market, all Chromebook models only gain a very modest market share, less than the new Windows RT device released only in January this year.

Perhaps Google had to recalculate the strategy of penetrating the traditional computer market (desktop, laptop), when their efforts were not really effective, although some information had previously been given to knowing cheap Chromebooks are quite expensive.
