An 'alien' object will fly over Earth in 2017?

A strange object in the center of the Sun's orbit was discovered by astronomer James Scotti of the University of Arizona (USA) in 1991 and was named 1991 VG . It will sweep through the Earth in the summer of 2017 in the southern hemisphere. Now scientists have not determined exactly what that object is.

This object is suspected of being an " alien witness" , cosmic garbage or a small meteorite. Some experts believe that 1991 VG could be a piece of Apollo 12. The astronomer James Scott hopes that it is a human-made object.

When the object was first discovered, it was about 10 meters in diameter and surpassed the Earth at a greater distance than the distance between the Moon and the Earth.

The strange thing about this 1991 VG object is that it turns itself at a very fast speed , observing on Earth that its brightness changes over time and lasts for long in the universe.

The astronomical professor Duncan Steel of Adelaide University in Australia hypothesized that the 1991 VG object may be an alien probe discovered on the edge of the Earth. However, Mr. Duncan was not sure about this.

After 1991 VG was discovered, astronomers learned that meteorites with a diameter of less than 100m often tend to spin very quickly. Therefore, Scotti said that we cannot rule out the hypothesis that this is just a meteorite.
