The 3D printing rocket called Rocket Lab Electron is made of a total carbon material with a rocket propeller that uses a Rutherford 3D engine. The first floor of the missile has 9 refined engines of refined oxygen and kerosene. The second floor has an optimal engine for space that can carry up to 225kg.
Currently, the company is planning to launch three tests of Electron 3D print missiles before commercializing the product.
3D printing technology can not only speed up production but also save rocket production costs. Rocket Lab aims to build and launch missiles weekly with a cost of about $ 5 million.
