Compared to the same period in 2013, the increase in the number of smartphones sold is not high

According to Digitimes , TrendForce reported data showed that compared to the same period in 2013, the increase in the number of smartphones sold was only 1.13%.

However, TrendForce forecasts that the number of smartphones sold in the second quarter of 2014 will record a 6.7% increase ( over the same period ), reaching 284.5 million units.

Also according to TrendForce 's report, Samsung is currently leading the global smartphone market share ( at 30% ), ranking second as Apple but the share of US technology giants holding share is not published.
