Changji - Guquan Ultra high voltage direct current (UHVDC) transmission line is owned and operated by the State Grid Corporation of China. The project started construction in January 2016 and completed in December 2018.

This is the longest power transmission line in the world today, with a length of 3,324 km. This line transmits electricity from the Northwest to the East of China with an output of about 60-85 billion kWh per year. Changji - Guquan is also the world's first power transmission line operating at a voltage of 1,100kV.

The Changji - Guquan line starts at Changji station, in Changji Hui district of Xinjiang Autonomous Region in the northwest and ends at Guquan station, Xuancheng city, Anhui province, eastern China, passing through Gansu provinces , Shaanxi, Henan, Ningxia Autonomous Region.

2. Belo Monte - Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) transmission line: 2,543 km

The Belo Monte - Rio de Janeiro line in Brazil is an 800kV ultra-high voltage direct current (UHVDC) transmission line. This line is 2,543 km long, transmitting electricity from the Belo Monte hydroelectric plant (11.2 GW) located in the state of Para to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The Belo Monte - Rio de Janeiro line, which passes through 80 cities along the route from the Amazon to the southeastern coast of Brazil, can transmit 4 GW of capacity.

3. Rio Madeira (Brazil) transmission line: 2,375 km

The 600kV Rio Madeira transmission line in Brazil has a length of 2,375 km, capable of transmitting electricity with a capacity of 7.1 GW. The line connects from the Santo Antonio and Jirau hydroelectric power plants on the banks of the Madeira River in northwestern Brazil to major load centers in southeastern Brazil.

4. South Hami - Zhengzhou transmission line (China): 2,210 km

The 800kV South Hami - Zhengzhou super high voltage line was put into operation in January 2014. The line can transmit electricity with a capacity of 8 GW, starting from Hami Nanhu station, in Xinjiang Autonomous Region, passing through Gansu Province, Ningxia Autonomous Region, Shaanxi Province, Shanxi, and ending at Zhengzhou (Zhengzhou), Henan Province, China.

5. Belo Monte - Estreito transmission line (Brazil): 2,092 km

The 800kV Belo Monte - Estreito ultra-high voltage direct current (UHVDC) transmission line was put into use in December 2017.

The line has a transmission capacity of 4 GW, supplying electricity from the Belo Monte hydroelectric plant (11,233 MW) in northern Brazil to the Estreito substation in southeastern Brazil.

6. Jinping - Sunan transmission line (China) - 2,090km

The 800kV Jinping - Sunan transmission line with a rated capacity of 7.2 GW was put into operation in December 2012. The line passes through 8 provinces of China from the Guandi, Jinping, Sichuan hydroelectric power plants located on the Yalong River in Sichuan province, passing through the provinces of Yunnan, Chongqing, Hunan, Hubei, Anhui, Zhejiang to Jiangsu.

7. Bach Hac Than - Jiangsu power transmission line (China) - 2080km.

The Bach Hac Than - Jiangsu 800kV transmission line brings clean electricity from Sichuan province in the southwest to Jiangsu, in eastern China. Power transmission capacity of up to 8 million kW helps transport more than 3 billion kWh per year.

10. Biswanath - Agra transmission line (India): 1,728 km

This 800kV power transmission line of India starts from Biswanath Chariali in the state of Assam located in northeastern India to Agra, a city on the Yamuna river, in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.

The power transmission line was put into operation in September 2015 and has a capacity of 6 GW.
