At the upcoming Computex 2013, many manufacturers will introduce new products using their Haswell chips. Products will include Intel's latest laptop, tablet, and hybrid chips. However, at the time when Computex had not yet happened, some products began to appear.

Asus VivoBook V551 is an example. According to the product information page, Asus VivoBook V551 is an ultrabook with a 15.6-inch screen, using Intel Core i7-4500U chip Haswell and Nvidia discrete graphics card. The price of the machine promises to fall to about 1000 USD. Currently many retailers in the US have started accepting orders before this product.

More detailed specifications include discrete graphics GeForce GT740M graphics, 8 GB RAM, HDD 1 TB HDD and 24 GB SSD cache. Slim machine 2.1 cm but still equipped with DVD drive. It supports WiFi, Bluetooth, HDMI port, 3 USD ports (1 port is USB 3.0), 65 Whr battery. Also the screen will be a touch screen so the operating system will definitely be Windows 8. Unfortunately, the screen resolution will only be at 1366 x 768.

Asus VivoBook V551 though quite thin but will not be light, by weight up to 2.4 kg. However, this is not surprising because of the size of the device, plus the optical drive and the traditional hard drive.
