To create a giant 25m-long network, the female spider shot a strand stretching continuously from one side of the river and 'by' the wind carried them across the river. When a special 'bridge' is formed, the spider will create a spiral-shaped circular web of up to 3 meters in diameter. It is the 'trap' of Darwin's spider plant to catch prey flying on water like dragonflies, fleets, and other insects.
