Describe
The command USER_NAME in SQL Server returns database username information based on the id passed. If no id is specified, this function returns the name of the current user.
Syntax
To use the command USER_NAME in SQL Server, we use the following syntax:
USER_NAME([id_number])
Parameters :
- id_number: The id number associated with the user in SQL Server.
Note :
- If the value is passed to id, USER_NAME returns the username that represents that id.
- If the id number is not provided, USER_NAME will return the current username in SQL Server.
