The first train and model station of Cat Linh - Ha Dong railway will open for visitors in May

Cat Linh - Ha Dong railway project was started in 2011 with a total investment of 891 million USD, equivalent to 18,000 billion VND, including 13 km of elevated railway, 1.7 km to depot area, 12 above stations. high . passing Dong Da, Thanh Xuan and Tu Liem districts.

This elevated railway will be tested in September this year and opened in 2018, later than planned due to delays.

By 3/5, the first La Khe station of the elevated railway was basically completed.The train consisted of 4 cars, carrying over 1,200 people who were hoisted and placed on the 2nd floor of the station.Locomotive weighs about 35 tons, passenger car weighs 32 tons.The cars are 19 m long, 3.8 m high, 2.8 m wide.

The train station has a large lobby, both sides have escalators and stairs to go up.

The driver's cabin is about 5 m2 wide, equipped with electronic screen, radio, telephone .

The machine is manufactured from China, the wheels are designed with steel imported from Germany, many other parts are imported from Japan, Czech .

There are stairways and escalators to help you move from the second floor to the display area of ​​La Khe model station.

The first floor of La Khe station area is hundreds of square meters.Here, visitors can view many pictures and photos related to the first elevated railway project in Vietnam.

The contractor has completed more than 28,000 m of main track, installing noise-proof walls and waterproofing the deck.Currently, the railway connects Depot area and internal branch rail to the subdivision for reviewing, repairing and setting up the ship being constructed.Some items of equipment for fire fighting, drainage, electricity . are being installed.
