Steps to fill ink into HP printer
How do you put a liquid toner cartridge in an HP printer?
Before you begin, you'll want to make sure your HP printer is turned on. Also, to avoid damaging the new cartridge, do not open the cartridge until you are ready to use it. Follow these steps to replace your toner cartridge.
Step 1. Open the cartridge cover on the front of the printer using the small handle.
Step 2. After a few seconds, the toner cartridge will automatically move to the center of the printer.
Step 3. Wait until the ink cartridge stops moving and the printer is silent, then press the cartridge down to remove it.
Step 4. Open your new toner cartridge and remove the plastic pull tab, then hold at the edges with the ink nozzles facing the printer, insert the cartridge at a slightly upward angle. 5. Press the cartridge until it clicks into place. Repeat the same steps for the other cartridge.
Step 6. Close the cartridge cover. You should test print to make sure the ink cartridges are properly set and the printer prints properly.
How do you put powder cartridges in an HP printer?
If you have an HP Laserjet printer instead of an inkjet, you will still have to replace the cartridges from time to time. The process is similar to replacing a liquid cartridge above, but with some differences. Here's how to do it.
Step 1. Lift the scanner section of the printer, then lift the top cover of the printer until it comes out of place.
Step 2. Pull out the toner cartridge using the handle and slide it upwards until you remove it.
Step 3. Open the new print cartridge by pulling the release tab on the outer packaging.
Step 4. Hold the cartridge by the handle and align it so that it fits the grooves inside the printer, then slide the cartridge into the printer until it clicks into place.
Step 5. Lower the top cover as well as the scanner unit on the printer.
