Download and install MiniTool Partition Wizard
Step 1: Right-click on the downloaded MiniTool Partition Wizard installation file > Select Run as administrator.

Step 1: Open Minitool Partition Wizard, click to select the hard drive to be divided > Select Create to open the Create new Partition interface on the software.
Step 2: Fill in the required parameters including:
- Partition Label: Name for the partition.
- Create As: The main partition (containing the operating system), select Primary, the remaining partitions choose Logical.
- Driver Letter: Select a drive letter (A, B, C .)
- File System: Choose NTFS or FAT32 partition format. It is recommended to use NTFS because NTFS is less error prone than FAT32 and can store files larger than 4GB.
- Cluster Size: Default.
- Size and Location: drag from right to left to set the new partition size.
Click OK.
Step 3: Right-click on the main partition containing the operating system with Create As as Primary > Select Set Active to avoid errors when ghosting Windows.
Click Yes to confirm again.
Step 4: Right-click the partition drive > Select Rebuild MBR to avoid ghost Windows error.
