A window pops up allowing you to choose whether you want to back up your data to your PC, manage the backup password for your device, or edit the backup list. Recovery mode can be used to place backed up iOS files on your handset: Restore Data. There are customizable options at the bottom of the screen: Customized Backup and Customized Restore.

There are restrictions on backup mode. You cannot back up reports in the Health app, iCloud photos, iTunes media content, Keychain content, Activity History information, Touch ID settings, and Apple Pay data. You can click the What's Backup/Restore link? in the upper right corner of the user interface for detailed information about the different states.

The amount of time it takes to backup and restore will depend on the amount of information the file contains. You can access the backup and restore buttons in the iDevice tab below the image and in the Toolbox section in the first row.

What is the use of 3uTools?

3uTools gives you a detailed overview of the connected iOS device when launching the program. You can view high quality images of your iPad, iPhone or iPod. There is important device information listed on the right side that tells you iOS version, serial number and battery percentage, etc. You can tell if your handset is jailbroken or not.

The hard drive space bar shows you the categories that are taking up storage space on your iOS device. You can see the number of GB used and the total number of GB available on the percentage bar.

There is a list of items on the left side of the iDevice tab that allows you to view information, apps, photos, music, ringtones, videos, books, UDisk, data, files, and common iOS tools. The upper part of the UI has an icon bar that includes iDevice, Apps, RT & WP, Flash & JB, Toolbox and Tutorials. RT & WP stands for ringtones and wallpapers.

You can control most of the commands from the Toolbox category: File manager, transfer data, erase all data, stop iOS update, etc. Flash & JB area allows you to flash and jailbreak your iPad or iPhone mine. You can choose whether you want to flash or jailbreak the iOS accessory in the left panel.

3uTools recommends backing up your data before flashing or jailbreaking the device. You can complete both modes in one click by tapping the blue button in the bottom right corner of the screen. You will be able to see the progress in the user interface.
