What game is Stardew Valley?
Stardew Valley is a farming simulation game largely inspired by the Harvest Moon video game series. You will inherit your grandfather's old estate in Stardew Valley. Armed with craft tools and a few coins, you will begin your new life. You can learn to live with the land and turn fields into grand homes.
How to play Stardew Valley
When starting the game, the player creates a character, begins to receive a piece of land and a small house once owned by his grandfather in a small town called Pelican Town. Players can choose from several different farm types, each with a unique theme and different benefits and drawbacks.
Initially, the farmland you inherited from your grandfather will be filled with rocks, trees, stumps, and weeds. And players must clear them to restart the farm, take care of crops and livestock to generate revenue, and continue expanding the farm's buildings and facilities.
Interact with NPCs, do quests
You will have to interact with NPCs living in the town. Including entering into relationships with them. This can range up to the character's milestone event of getting married, leading to NPCs helping the player character take care of the farm.
Once married, players may have the opportunity to give birth or even adopt a child with their spouse. Players can also engage in fishing, cooking, crafting, and exploring caves with materials and ores to mine or mining creatures for combat.
Do quests and unlock new content
You can perform various tasks to earn money or complete specific collections of materials (called "packs") to restore the town's Community Center, or pay a certain amount to Complete JojaMart packages.
Completing packs will reward players with various items, including seeds and tools. Completing multiple packs will grant players access to new areas and game mechanics, such as unlocking deserts.
Pay attention to your character
The player's character will have a level measured based on the character's current health and exhaustion level as well as changing the light and dark clock within the game. Players can consume food and provide some useful buffs in the game. Food is also a source of energy and health so players can complete more tasks in a day.
The game uses a simplified calendar, each year has four 28-day months representing each season, and this determines what crops can be grown and what activities can be beneficial. Later in the game, the player can restore the greenhouse and an island that can grow any crop regardless of the season.
Join other players
You can join 1-3 other players in the game, build a prosperous site together, share accounts and improve the local community. Players can choose to increase the profit margin on products sold for more challenges.
Improve your skills over time from an inexperienced and struggling grower to a master farmer. You will level up in 5 areas including: farming, mining, fighting, fishing and foraging.
As you level up, you'll learn recipes and craft new items. Unlock new areas to explore and customize your skills by choosing from a variety of professions.
Over 30 unique characters live in Stardew Valley, you won't have a problem finding new friends. Each has a daily schedule with birthdays, events, unique mini cutscenes, and more new things throughout the week and year.
When you combine with the characters in the game, you will find them opening up to you more. Ask you to do some trouble-solving tasks for them and listen to their secrets. Participate in many seasonal festivals such as luau, haunted maze, and winter star festival.
Explore many vast, mysterious caves, as you go deeper into the caves you will be able to encounter new and dangerous monsters. At the same time, you will have powerful weapons, new environments, valuable gems, raw materials to craft and upgrade tools, mysteries that need to be discovered.
