Older PCs running Windows 11 will be faster thanks to the Sun Valley 2 update
A major update of Windows 11 called Sun Valley 2 is expected to be released in the second half of next year. Sun Valley 2 will focus on supporting Android apps, third-party Widgets and a better Windows 11 interface.
Sources confirm that the new version of Microsoft will be released in May 2022.
One of the big 'reverse' steps on Windows is the response speed and high error rate on File Explorer. Especially when users search for files, the related results are quite slow. The Sun Valley 2 update on Windows 11 promises to thoroughly solve those problems, make file search faster and more efficient, and improve the performance of the operating system.
And yet, Microsoft's major update will also help improve the performance of Windows 11, fix problems such as consuming RAM, CPU or hard drive. This will be the main factor to help older PCs and laptops running on Windows 11 operate more smoothly.
In the recently released update of Build 2256 for developers, Windows 11 improves the sound quality when connecting to AirPods, the keyboard shortcut ALT + TAB will display as a window, the Searching for files on File Explorer is also easier. Build 2256 will also be integrated on the upcoming Sun Valley 2 version.
