Sony launched 2 rivals of the MacBook Air

Vaio S Series

Vaio S is equipped with the Intel Wireless Displa y feature to transfer content to HDTV. Sony said, users can choose high capacity batteries to improve battery life to 7.5 hours. Users can now purchase Vaio S series laptops on Sony's website and some retailers.

Vaio Y Series

The Vaio Y series laptop has an 11.6-inch (~ 29.5 cm) LED screen, using AMD's low-power E series processor. Vaio Y is equipped with 4GB of RAM, HDMI port, stereo Bluetooth, camera, microphone. Sony said the battery life of the Vaio Y series was very long, but the company did not announce specifically.

The Vaio Y series will be released in February 2011 on Sony's website and some retailers.
