Tweakers sources said that Dell is about to launch its new Latitude series ultrabook called 6430u with a significantly thinner design than its predecessor. This product certainly has the option of Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 processors using the new Ivy Bridge platform.

The Latitude 6430u has characteristic design lines of the old Latitude line, such as focusing the connection port on the near edge of the hinge while smoothing the curve forward.

With a 30 suffix instead of 20, the Latitude 6430u is said to have a 14-inch screen with a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels, a maximum RAM of 8GB and a solid-state SSD of 256 GB. In addition, it also comes with a fingerprint identification slot and a smart card reader.

The official launch date and price have not been revealed.
