Prnqctl command in Windows

Theprnqctlcommandhelps print a test page, pause or resume the printer and delete the printer queue.
Syntax command prnqctl
cscript Prnqctl {-z | -m | -e | -x | -?} [-s]
[-p] [-u] [-w]
The command parameter prnqctl
Parameters
Describe
-z
Pause printing on the printer specified with the -p parameter.
-m
Continue printing on the printer specified with the -p parameter.
-e
Print a test page on the printer specified with the -p parameter.
-x
Cancel all print jobs on the printer specified with the -p parameter.
-S
Specify the name of the remote computer that the printer store you want to manage.If you do not specify a remote computer, the local computer will be used by default.
-p
Required parameters.Specify the name of the printer you want to manage.
-u -w
Specify the authorized account to connect to the printer storage computer you want to manage.All members in the local administrator group of the target computer have these rights, but the permissions can also be granted to other users.If you do not specify an account, you must log in to an account with these permissions so that the command can be executed.

Prnqctl command statement
The prnqctl command is a Visual Basic script located in the% WINdir% System32printing_Admin_Scripts directory . To use this command, at the command prompt, type cscriptfollowed by the full path to the prnqctl file, or change the directory to the appropriate directory.
For example:
cscript% WINdir% System32printing_Admin_Scriptsen-USprnport
If the information you provide contains spaces, use quotation marks for the text (for example, "computer Name").
Example prnqctl command
To print a test page on a printer called Laserprinter1 that is shared by the server named Server1 , enter:
cscript Prnqctl -e -s Server1 -p Laserprinter1
To pause printing on a printer named Laserprinter1 on a local computer, type:
cscript Prnqctl -z -p Laserprinter1
To cancel all print jobs on a printer named Laserprinter1 on the local computer, type:
cscript Prnqctl -x -p Laserprinter1
