NASA exploration robots capture the surface of Mars like Earth

On August 19, the US Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) officially announced the latest panoramic image of the Martian surface sent by NASA's Curiosity robot. These images show that the Martian surface is very similar to the southwestern United States .

According to NASA, on August 5, 2016, the Exploratory Robot used Mast Camera (Mastcam) to capture dozens of frames in the Murray Buttes area, a peak forming in Sharp Mountain in the Gale crater. Curiosity landed inside the Gale crater 4 years ago.

The peak is named after planetary scientist Bruce Murray, director of NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, which is responsible for Curiosity.

Currently, Curiosity robots are on a mission to expand on the red planet to examine how and why Mars turned into arid land is no longer suitable for life as before.

In June this year, Curiosity detected high levels of manganese oxide on Mars, a sign that there was an abundance of oxygen. According to Nina Lanza, planetary scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico, "The only way on Earth to make manganese oxide that we know is related to atmospheric oxygen or bacteria." .
