Minecraft: A Guide to Preventing Raids

Basically, when a player gets Bad Omen status, raids in Minecraft Vanilla will officially begin. Normally, Bad Omen will be activated when defeating Raid Captain - the gray Pilager is usually accompanied by a Pillager mob, he wears a large sign on his head.

As mentioned, Bad Omen will trigger a raid, leading looters to spawn near a village and enter it in search of property and revenge.

So how to defeat or completely prevent raids in Minecraft?

First of all, the player is forced to fight the illager army to end the raid. Of course, many other attacks from the enemy will still happen in a row and your task is to clean up one wave after another until it is completely over. Depending on the difficulty set by the player, raids can be easier or more difficult, and as a result the raid party may consist of more or less bad guys.

Raiding groups consisting of standard bandits, stats as well as powerful raiders are the ultimate enemy of sorts. Once all three waves (and possibly an additional wave) are defeated (this will be indicated by the dwindling raid bar at the top of the screen), the raid will end.

In the end, the Villager and their house will be safe for a while until another player with Bad Omen enters the village and triggers another raid.

Instructions to prevent raids:

While raids can be fun, they certainly cause a lot of trouble. If Minecraft players or server admins think the attacks of the bad guys might be too annoying, deactivate them altogether. 

However, players are forced to ensure that cheats or console commands are enabled before disabling raids, as it will require commands.

Specifically, you can use the command " /gamemode disableraids true " to disable raids completely. To trigger the raid again, all the player needs to do is use the same command but swap "true" with "false".
