Microsoft will use the completely new Office key to replace the Windows key or the useless Menu key
On the popular keyboards today there are always 2 Shift keys, 2 Ctrl keys, 2 Alt keys and 2 Windows keys. While the arrangement of two Shift, Ctrl and Alt keys makes it easier for users to use, faster operation, it seems the existence of two Windows keys is quite redundant. Most users don't use the Windows key on the right ever.

Therefore, Microsoft is planning to remove the Windows key on the right with a completely new Office key, to add new shortcut keys for Microsoft Office applications.
Currently, Microsoft is conducting a survey about changing the right Windows key with a completely new Office key. Another option is given by the giant to study, that is the new Office key will replace the fairly useless Menu key, located right next to the Windows key.
Tests of this change are being tested by Microsoft with the May Windows update.
The Windows key has appeared on computer keyboards since 1994, when the Microsoft Natural keyboard was released 25 years ago.
Because Microsoft requires Windows keys on the keyboard, it will issue a certificate for use with the Windows operating system. Therefore, computer keyboards using the 104/105 layout all have two Windows keys and a Menu key.
If Microsoft makes this change, manufacturers of computer keyboards and laptops may also have to make changes.
