How to Disable 1 or More Any Key on Windows 10 Keyboard?

For some reason you want to disable (disable) one or more of any keys on the Windows keyboard, but don't know how to do it. Normally to disable some basic keys like Windows logo, you can use Group Policy , but for other keys it cannot be disabled with Group Policy.

1. Simple Disable Key

To disable one or more keys on the computer keyboard running Windows 10 or earlier, you can use the free tool called Simple Disable Key.

2. Disable any key for a specific program

In short, you can use Simple Disable Key to disable all letter keys (from AZ), function keys (F1 to F12), Control, Alt, Tab, Esc, Windows logos, Shift, CapsLock, Spacebar, NumLock, Home, Insert, Page Up, Page Down, Delete, End, Print Screen, Scroll Lock, Pause and arrow keys.

3. Use Simple Disable Key to disable any key on Windows 10/8/7

Step 1:

Download Simple Disable Key to your computer, then run the setup file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the tool.

Step 2:

Next, launch Simple Disable Key and select a language.

Step 3:

To disable any key, select the Key frame and then press a key on the keyboard you want to disable, then click Add Key .

Suppose if you want to disable the K key, you press the K key on the keyboard and this time the K key will be added to the list.

If you want to disable multiple keys, just click the Add button and then follow the steps to add the key.

Step 4:

When you click the Add key button, a dialog window will appear with three options: Program, Always, and Schedule .

Select the Always option if you want to always turn off the key and turn off the keys for all programs.

Select the Program option if you want to turn off the selected key for a particular program. After selecting this option you will see an option to select the executable file.

Step 5:

Finally click OK to disable the selected key.

To disable all keys, click Menu Tools then select the Enable All Keys option .
