X1 uses LCD screen which is protected by Gorilla Glass. Instead of using power-saving chips like other ultra-thin machines, this product integrates a new generation Core i5 processor with speeds up to 2.5 GHz. Although there is only one RAM slot on the motherboard, it supports up to 8 GB, enough to run many heavy applications at the same time. Other notable features include a 160 GB SSD drive, eSATA connection port, USB 3.0, SDXC, VGA and HDMI card readers.
X1 is capable of operating continuously for 10 hours while MacBook Air is only 7 hours. It is expected to be sold in mid-May with a price of nearly 3,000 USD (60 million VND).
