Asus revealed Zenbook Infinity, Gorilla Glass screen 3
Asus said it will bring to the 2013 Computex Zenbook Infinity with a slimmer, lighter design and is expected to be more attractive than its predecessor model.
The new Infinity version has a weight reduction of 14% compared to its predecessor, along with the thickness being reduced to only 15.5 mm. The highlight is that Corning's latest anti-scratch screen technology is Gorilla Glass 3 , which is three times more scratch resistant than its predecessor Gorilla Glass 2, turning it into ultrabook almost impossible to scratch. scratched.
Asus did not give much information about hardware specifications in addition to the design suggestions. Most likely Zenbook Infinity will be equipped with new Intel Core processor chip , based on Haswell architecture like the new MacBook product line of Apple is expected to debut at WWDC 2013.
Besides, another possibility is also expected on Zenbook Infinity is a high resolution screen, at least an optional version. Recently, Asus has also quietly released a laptop with the same screen resolution as Apple's Retina in the European market, reaching 2880 x 1620 pixels.
A screen with such a high resolution will require a high-performance graphics chip, but it's unclear whether Asus can do this when the model is only 15.5 mm thick.
